File Recovery in Windows with Disk Digger

Just came across and have to say it is such a simple yet a very power user tool for Windows. Disk Digger, as the name implies is a free File Recovery tool for Windows. It can recover deleted files from Hard Drive, Removable media like USB drives and USB sticks, memory cards etc. Disk Digger can recover files from re-formatted hard disks or even on disks with format errors as the advanced mode can scan for files bypassing the Windows Filesystem drivers.

Disk Digger features include,

Scans for many different types of files, including photos, videos, music files, and documents
Preview most of the files found by DiskDigger without having to save them to a different location first
Scans any type of media that is readable by your computer including hard disk, USB flash drives, memory cards (SD, CompactFlash, Memory Stick, etc)
Undelete files from NTFS and all types of FAT partitions including exFAT
Can go underneath the file system to scan for traces and remnants of lost files

Disk Digger is portable which means no installation is necessary. Simply download the ZIp file, unzip and run the executable. For an advanced tool, Disk Digger doesn’t have to many clutter of menus. Options are simple and easy to understand and use.
