PeerMonitor is a free tool to monitor network devices and hosts on the internet. PeerMonitor is a simple ICMP based tool which pings the hosts at regular intervals and shows you the dashboard with the status of the monitored devices.

While this is not a big feature rich monitoring tool, it is very effective desktop based tool to keep a check on your devices or websites or infact any reacheable host on the internet. PeerMonitor supports DNS which means, you don’t need to mess around finding IP addresses for your nodes.

PeerMonitor supports sound and email alerts and ICMP options configurable.

PeerMonitor works on Windows XP but doesn’t seem to work on Windows 7 (atleast on my x64 bit Windows 7). Click here to download PeerMonitor.
