Use Process Explorer to find detailed information on whats goingon on your Windows Server or PC. Process Explorer shows you information about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded along with enhanced system information on CPU,Memory & I/O performance.

Process Explorer can be said as an very enhanced highend alternative or even replacement to Windows Task Manager. Originally developed by SysInternals which is now owned by Microsoft and hence a Microsoft tool now.

Process Explorer lets you

Always watch the current Active process including the Process Owner

Active Files, Directories, registry entries and other handles opened by a selected process

DLLs and Memory mapped files that the process has loaded

Search process which has open a Handle or DLL file

Replace Task Manager

Enhanced system information

Process Explorer works on Windows 9x/Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Server 2003, and 64-bit versions of Windows for x64 and IA64 processors, and Windows Vista. Simply download the files, unzip and run the exe. A good help files comes along as well.
