If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to Windows Reference RSS feed Thanks for visiting!
If you want to open outlook link in new window follow this procedure
Note: This behaviour will change for all applications (not just Outlook) from which you open a link.
Internet Explorer Options
To change the setting for Internet Explorer open IE go to Tools-> Internet Options-> tab Advanced-> section Browsing-> untick option “Reuse windows for launching shortcuts”
In the registry
Make sure Outlook is closed
Click on Start—>Run type regedit click ok
Now you need to navigate the following key from left pane
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
Double-click on the AllowWindowReuse value from right pane and give it the value of 1
Press OK on the input box and close the registry editor
From now on When you now open Outlook and click on a link in a message the link will open in it’s own window.

I have Microsoft outlook 2003 with sp3. I can no longer open links within my incoming email.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Respectfully yours.
Don R. Smith
I followed all of the instructions above, but instead of using a value of “1″ I used “0″ and now my links open in a brand new page. With a “1″ value the links would still use the last IE page I opened. I use Outlook 2003 and IE version 6.
I am having the same problem. All of a sudden I cannot open any links in my emails in outlook. I have tried using the instructions above but it hasn’t helped.
Can anyone help me with this?
