Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 7 allows administrators to manage roles and features on Windows Server 2008 R2 (Core & Full installation) and, for some roles and features, Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2003 from your Windows 7 PC attached to the domain. File Pathname character limitations in Windows
When you copy files from one location to other in Windows, you might have seen the errors like “File name too long to copy” with those wonderful useless options SKIP or CANCEL.
This is because of the limit on the number of characters on a File Path and the Filename togethor. So, the bad news is there is no direct fix for this.
Disable IPv6 in Windows 7 & Windows Vista
IPv6 is enebled by default in Windows 7 and Windows Vista. If you are not using IPv6 then this can be disabled from the Windows Registry as follows:
