A quick tip for those who choose to trial the Internet Explorer 8 Beta browser. Those who installed Internet Explorer 8 beta would have realised some of their favorite website just don’t work anymore. To name a few Yahoo!Mail new interface and a bunch of Microsoft sites like Windows Live mail and their own Windows update website. Quite odd though Windows Update site thinks that we use an older version of the browser and suggest you to use a latest version. I would have expected Microsoft to make their websites all compatible with Internet Explorer 8.

Increasing the number of connection for Internet Explorer and the number of connections to one individual webserver can dramatically increase the speed of accessing website in Internet Explorer. The result is obvivous as increasing the number of connections can directly increase the faster loading of a website.

Autocomplete in Internet Explorer is a feature which allows the browser to remember the previous entered web form entries like website addresses in the addressbar and help you complete the form (again address bar for example) based on the few characters you typed in.

This is a great feature that comes handy when you are browsing consistently multiple websites or intranet or extranet resources. In Internet Explorer 5 & 6 this is enabled by default but not so in Internet Explorer 7.

Internet Explorer Error Reporting reports crashes to Microsoft everytime the browser crashes, most of the time due to an addon or a browser extension. Mostly, we would not want to send the info to microsoft and click “Dont send” in which case this can be quite annoying.

Internet Explorer Error reporting can be disabled from the registry.
