Internet Explorer may not work in Windows 7 Beta

In some instances in Windows 7 Beta, Internet Explorer may not work properly and you would not be able to visit websites at all. This can happen if the “Automatically detect settings” option is enabled on you Internet Explorer.

When trying to access a network share on a Mac OS X network share supporting Windows Sharing Service from a Windows 7 PC you may be thrown with errors like

Network path not found error (0×80070035)

or go in cycles prompting for logon passwords.

By default all the supported features for IPv6 are enabled in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. However, if you are not using IPv6 yet then you don't need to be enabled at all or if you do use and want some of the components be disabled because you don't use it then this can be done Windows Registry.
