Vista provides a feature that automatically synchronizes the system clock with a time server on the Internet. Vista turns on this feature by default, and updates your system clock periodically. You can turn it off, or update it immediately. Like the date and time settings, you must be part of the administrators group to change the Internet time synchronization settings for your system. In addition, to use this feature you must have the Windows Time service running.
