Howto Change the location of Favorites folder in Vista/XP/2000

For Vista Users
- First you need to Open a WIndows Explorer
- Now Navigate to C:\Users\{your_username}\Favorites\
- Right click the folder > Properties > Location > Change the location path to the one you require
- Apply > Answer whether you want to move the contents of the old location to the new one > OK
For XP/2000 Users
- Go to Start—> Run—> Regedit
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellFolders
- Change the Favorites value from,
C:\documents and settings\{your_username}\Favorites
To the new location.
