Microsoft has released the beta of their next big release of Windows Operating -System. Yes, Windows 7 Beta is now available for public evaluation. Microsoft has released the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of Windows 7 beta operating system.

Click here to download Windows 7 beta (32-bit & 64-bit). You have to sign into your Microsoft Passport service to register the download. Download the ISO image and burn it onto a DVD to start evaluating Windows 7. Bear in mind, this is not a production quality release of the Windows 7 and hence if you are an admin or even primarily use Windows then do not deploy this in production.

System Requirements

Windows 7 has the following minimum system requirements:

1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor
1 GB of system memory
16 GB of available disk space

While this is a minimum requirement, I would suggest a decent configuration to evaluate the features of the features before we declare the operating system being any good or bad…

Happy Windows 7….
