How to show file extensions in XP

If you want to display each file extension in your windows XP computer use the following procedure
Open windows explorer go to tools—>Folder Options
Now you need to click on View tab under advanced settings uncheck “Hide extensions for known file types” click ok 2 times
Now you should be able see all the file extensions as follows
