Secondly, When I diabled the Welocome Screen, it did go faster, but because I have a wireless antenna (my conclusion), even though I am a single user not using or needing a password, the password screen comes up with the new &quot;0&quot; setting. I put it back to &quot;1&quot; and it all works right again (alas with Welcome Screen, but no password screen. 

Thanks for all the other suggestions... They worked well.</description>
