Whenever i use my computer, the desktop colour settings automatically reduces and it doesnt stops even after pressing the exit key.

ex: Suddenly brightness will starts reducing from 80 to 0. Same goes with Contrast… Please suggest what should i do

while surfing the other night, my desktop icons and taskbar disappeared. I have to hit ctrl/alt/delete and start programs from the task manager now. everything else seems normal. I CANNOT right click on the desktop to get the icons back – I have only my background picture and a mouse pointer on the screen. I tried system restore, but no luck. I searched the data base and saw this problem several times, but never with a solution. any bonafide gurus out there that can tackle this one?? thanks!

I am using intel pentium4 506 (2.66GHz,1MB 533MHz)processor and my M/B is 945GCM-S2L with 512MB DDR2/667 RAM. Now i want to install another RAM of 256MB DDR2/400 with to make the my pc more faster,but when i install 2nd RAM With the 1st RAM, my pc dosen’t boot.Plz help me what i do for solved my problem.

Whenever I am booting my computer a message is shown. ” You are using Duplicate windows”. How can I stop this from showing.

I had the below mentioned problem which i fixed thru this site.
Whenever I double-click on any drive/folder in My Computer, a Search window opens.
It has been very helpful for me online to solve this problem.

I recently copied a large number of pictures from a memory stick, via the clipboard, to my desktop – then moved them to another folder. Now the pictures keep copying themselves to my desktop, filling it completely. I cannot find a fix to this problem anywhere! Can someone offer some advice? I’m running XP with Explorer 8, with all the updates, and I don’t have any viruses or spyware that I can find. Thanks – R.

This is not really a comment but a problem i am experiencing with windows and reading of flashes i think the problem comes in when it is loading the driver software of the flashdisk when i insert a flashdisk except for my flashdisk it states locate driver software then after states that the software nnot found i tried to do windows repair but the problem is the date are too recent is there a way of selecting older dates to use windows repair

Its just suddenly happened, everytime i login, my whole desktop restarts i.e all the icons and taskbar dissapear and come back every few seconds like ive just looged on again?????

is there any solution in here?????????
now if i am turning on my pc,. my desktop and taskbar always dissapear, every minute,. somebody help me!!! please?????????????????????????
